I used to do an hour and a half of Aerobics and Yoga a day, but that was before meeting Mr D and getting promoted into Management, nowadays I just dont get the time anymore! Thankfully a little bit of Yoga keeps me flexible and digging on the allotment has certainly toned me up, its the only form of exercise I've found that fits easily into my schedule and gives such a feeling of acchievement, its exercise, but not for exercise sake if you know what I mean!Blessings

Agree with you, Mrs D, about exercise for the sake of exercise - that's why cycling works for me, gets me to work and doesn't cost anything either so can save my pennies and the world too! Always feel very smug when I get in although that feeling tends to go away when I notice it's raining near home time.

Lol Alison! I used to cycle everywhere, when I got my first house I had to sell the car, couldnt afford to run it and pay the mortgage, so used to cycle everywhere, 7 miles each way to work, at first it took a good 1/2 hour, but after a couple of months I'd got it down to less than 17 mins, and I was super fit too! It did always seem to me though that whichever direction I was going the wind always was head on, I'm sure it swung 180 degrees through the day, just to annoy me when I wanted to go home after work, and rain always stopped 10 mins after you get home too!! lol!Blessings

Glad it's not just me that happens to. Must admit I'm not looking forward to next week much as I hate cycling home in the dark (about 6 miles for me) and the weather looks like it'll be cold too (not that you'd believe it after the warmth of today) so will have to look out my thermals.
