evergreen arch

I wonder if anyone can help? After my daughter's wedding [4th July] I'm hoping to use the three arches in my garden which gets full sun most of the day. I would like to use them to form the foundation of an evergreen walk which flowers as well. Just to add to the problem, I would like it to be fairly quick growing. Does anyone have any ideas what I could plant or any other help or advice.

I would go for a mix. A rampant climbing rose, evergreen clematis, climbing hydrangea and maybe trumpet vine. Depends on the strength of your arches.

They interviewed Liza Tarbuck at chelsea this year and she was raving about a climbing rose,or rambler called Albertine.It has a gorgeous scent and looks lovely,i'm looking for one today as it happens.Worth thinking about?

Albertine is quite rampant and very prickly. I would use climbers rather than ramblers as they will be repeat flowering and easier to train. Most if not all ramblers have one fabulous flush of flowers early in the season - then nothing.

we have an evergreen honeysuckle which looks pretty good all year, copes well with north yorks weather even without much sun on it. Smells heavenly when in flower, grows quickly.
