What can I sow now to flower late next month!?

I know its really late for sowing flowers, but I've only got a mini greenhouse this year so was limited to what I can grow So I've got quite a few bare patches that I need to fill, as we are having a bbq for OH on her birthday and need it looking nice! Is there anything I can sow now to flower end of next month? I've got some virginia stock so might try sowing that, maybe if I feed everything loads they might flower!

Have a look at garden centres and the places like Homebase and Focus.Not so long ago Focus had a 50% sale price on bedding plants.Got 20 verbenas for 2.99�.
Just remembered about B&Q famous for not watering plants-floppy looking ones for half price

I think you'll struggle to get anything from seed to flower in 6 weeks IgglePiggle. You could have a look round the garden centre and see what they have in bedding plants. They're not too expensive.

To fill those spaces for next year there are plenty of flowers you could be planting now. You don't need a greenhouse. Trays or modules outside will be fine for seeds then just grow on and plant out in the autumn. I planted some hollyhock and delphinium seeds today.
