It looks like Cosmos but it could be Phacelia.

It is achillea, it's in quite a regular clump which suggests an ornamental version.
The 'weed' version is called yarrow and is much lower and would be more spread out as it tries to colonise the rest of your flowerbed...!

A weed is only a flower in the wrong place.

It's not a weed IgglePiggle and it does look like achillea. Wait intil it flowers and you'll know for sure.

Its a perennial flowering ornamental plant, or a weed if you don't like it and it even has quite few herbal uses!

                Yarrow

I think it might be scentless mayweed. If it produces daisylike flowers and the foliage smells sweet then it is. But it certainly could be yarrow.

It's a weed (and anything pink or yellow is a weed to me)

Now I can take pink, or yellow, but the two together - Yukk! Reminds me of Battenburg cake which I - an avowed cake lover, founder member of the village Cake Club, loathe and detest!

                      Funny, aren't we?

It is Yarrow (Achillea). The flowers are white on the weed version but pink in ornamental varieties. You can eat the very young leaves in salad but IMHO they taste gross.

I always think the flowers of the wild yarrow smell like ham sandwiches.
