Lupins

My wife has tried to grow Lupins for some time now - but always without success. I bought some plants from Gardening Direct last autumn and brought them on over winter in the greenhouse. Probably didn't plant them outside as early this year as I should - but have had several flowering spikes from them already. Either slugs or snails had the first flower spike that formed, so have applied some slug pellats ever since and they have done the trick.
