I think I may have killed my fuschia cuttings

I was getting on so well with my fuschia cuttings in the propagator they looked like they were doing really well so I decided to move them into more light.
Now the leaves have shrivelled up and they dont look to healthy ive removed all the dead and dying leaves and brought them indoors do you think they will survive im not sure if theve rooted yet ?

The really important thing is, are the roots of the cuttings OK? The tops may have dried out, but so long as the roots are alive, the plants should produce new growth.

How can you tell if the roots are ok sorry this sounds like a real stupid question but this is my first real attempt at growing cuttings.

The easiest way to root fuchsia (named after Dr Fuch) is in water.
That way you can see the roots developing. When they do root, pot them up as normal.

Maybe they got too hot, when you moved them to more light? I just leave mine outside, sometimes I don't pot them up and just put them in the ground and leave them to it
