oxallis coming up

I got 300 free bulbs through my magazine the other week. Have planted them all in pots as the ground is too hard to get spade in. The oxallis are now 3 inches high and were only planted 2 weeks ago.
Not sure this is normal and am sure a hard frost will kill them?

I've just poured boiling water on a load of oxalis .. it's a real pain in my garden

These are in pots and away up near the house on decking so hoping to contain them...

Edited to say it's not that horrible yellow oxalis weed that runs rampant over my garden but pretty flower ones instead.

I put some daffs in a fortnight ago, and they're also coming up, silly daft things. It's the warm Sept weather we had ... they'll slow down a bit now with the proper Autumn weather
