Loads of snowdrops and still more coming up.
Daffs - hardly any to be seen apart form a few 2 inch leaves teeting out round the compost bins under some trees. Had snow covering today so its hardly surprising!

Much to my surprise (and to the squirrels I should think) I have 5 sets of tulips making their way up, iris and a lily. No flowers yet but can't wait till next month. I though they would have rotted as I have heavy clay soil and it has been wet in the south east (as well as frosty). The garlic I planted in Nov is going great guns. The clematis and climbing roses I planted at the same time look pretty dead so I'm worried the frost got them.

Few snowdrops and the odd daffs are beginning to show.

Except for the sunniest spots (where daffs have been out for over a week now), only snowdrops are flowering.

Bitterly cold winds here in East Anglia and regular mild frosts so the spring bulbs seem to be a little behind. Mind you, I've been told that's because we've had very little rain. Only three days of solid rain so far in February, which bodes serious trouble for the eastern counties come summertime.

A purple crocus and a primrose bursting with six flowers (they sort of heave themselves out of the ground when they flower!). Daffodils under the fuschia about to flower - really really early for this far north.

snowdrops still going great guns, primroses in flower, but not too many. some catkins around the place. crocuses seem rather lacking this year... hyacinths that got chucked in the garden at various times are showing. daffs all in bud, and tulips on their way through.
also my first 2 summer irises in pots in the cold frame are just poking up!

I've got a primula and a couple of snowdrops in flower. The iris have been and gone indoors... I planted my tulips and daffs a bit late this year so they are just showing. Spring is getting closer...

One year I had lobelia, outside, on a south facing wall, well in to December, just shows that sometimes nature throws you a curve ball.
