Snowdrops and crocuses are poking their leaves up, likewise some of the daffs.

Some of my autumn sown daff bulbs are starting to show tips through the soil but nothing much else is happening at the moment.

planted some daffodil bulbs in a pot that are just about breaking the suface!!
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand
                .

Went into the greenhouse today and saw this little bit of yellow. Had a better look in the pot and found a yellow crocus that must have strayed into a pot and was happily growing away. My first spring flower.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I have some snowdrops, anemone, crocus and daffodils in flower, with fritillaria and tulips starting to poke some leaves out.

I should just sit back and enjoy them but I'm already thinking about what to have in summer!

Cor! It was well light leaving work yesterday! Enjoyed the drive home, even took my time to admire the country lanes (even better now I have a high driving position as I can see over the walls and nose into peoples gardens).

Whoop whoop ! I feel good today as wellas the quality of light is so good.
