Taken today, they've been a bit late the last couple of years. They can be out 1st week in Febuary here in tropical North Devon.

First of the baby daffodils opened today, along with crocus, snowdrops and my very early bright orange tulips which look amazing. Land cress has perked up in the veg garden, as has the chard.

I know Spring is nearly here, I've had to start weeding.....

sheltered but shady garden gets half day of sun.
                      overwintering garlic up this week
lots of snowdrops up - thought i'd put raised beds on top of them.
tulips in pots out and flowering all over.
overwintering spinach seems to have plucked up a bit since i gave them a seaweed tonic last week.

the signs of spring seem to be coming but for me its the tree buds that brings the heartwarming message most of all.

so very wet and claggy in the soil still tho.
