My Christmas bulbs did not flower. Is there any point in feeding them and looking after them for the whole summer. Are they likely to flower next year or should they be on their way to the compost bin?

I'd keep watering them-and put them somewhere cooler in the house. They may yet flower ( although possibly not this year)
When it warms up a bit get them outside and then plant them out for next year.
Of course you could take the pot back to where you got them from and ask for a refund!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

They were bulbs I bought and potted up myself, same as I did sucessfully last year.
They are outside now in disgrace hanging their long leaves on the norty step!

Would suggest you dig a hole in a free corner of your garden, tip out the pot - leaves, bulbs, soil - heel them into the hole and forget them. I bet in 12-months time you have a great display of flowers!Really great gardens seem to teeter on the edge of anarchy yet have a balance and poise that seem inevitable. Monty Don in Gardening Mad
