Understanding latin names

Part of gardening vocabulary is the Latin names given to plants. I thought a list stating a few that describe perfume might be useful.
Suaveolens-sweet smelling
Foetida-unpleasant smelling
Citriodora-lemon scented
Aromatica-aromatic
Graveolens-unpleasant
Fragrantissima-very fragrant
Hummmm now I just have to remember them
