Buxus topiary

Hi All.I have bought a tray of Boxus plants from Lidl last week and would like to train them into sphere shaped topiary to put in the garden. I understand that they grow better in the ground and will be putting them in veg beds corners for now and grow them on.Any recommendations on how to grow them and train them? also any suggested books or websites to read as the only thing i can find is websites who sell them!thanks alot
