I've read that tobacco plants should be transplanted about a week after germination but mine are tiny! How do I transplant them without damaging them, should I wait until they're a decent size?

I've always waited till they are a bit bigger - it's no good if you squash them whilst doing it!
If you forget and they get left in seed trays they will transplant fine as much larger plants - even to the point they're flowering - so I don't think you need to worry too much about when you transplant!

I always wait until my plants are at least 3 inches tall before I plant them out. I got a guide from Growing Tobacco Plants at Home that takes you through every step from growing your tobacco to processing it and have had no trouble since.
