thank you flum! the wood avens I have millions, squillions of. Didn't help I didn't realise they were a weed last year and let them get to burr stage...
2-sheds: yes!! I thought some of them were random strawberries

more identification please
pic 1 is the flower, pic 2 is the leaf.
pic 3 i'm pretty sure is a california poppy and is in the same area as pic 1 and pic 2, so am hoping i'm right.
pic 4 I have loads of all over the place but not sure if it's anything?
pic 5 is the one from previous, just need confirmation it's ash as I now have about 7-8 of them and they need to be removed. Any tips of how to kill them??Comment

That's just the front of the rockery. Not even started on other bits of the garden yet. Would be nice to have just SOME flowers instead of weeds weeds weeds
