  • Winter Planning

Hi, ive been veggie growing 2 years now and always considered flowers a waste of time, until this spring that is, and after growing a lot of flowers myself to save money i'm looking for ways to plant up my pots stylishly this winter. So far I have cineraria growing and I have a smally curry plant that i'm hoping to propagate from.
Ideally i'd like to stick to a silver/red/black/green colour scheme so i'm looking for suggestions as to what plants i could grow from seeds now that would fit in.
Any ideas if i can get some seeds for black grasses cheaply form anywhere?
Also how do I take cuttings from ivy to increse my stock for around the edges of my pots, I have 3 or 4 little clumps do i just divide?

Thank you for reading and sorry for the ramble.
    Amy

ivy cuttings are really easy , you need to have a single leaf and a bud next to it, put about 3 or 4 in a pot keep them damp and they will root in no time. euonomys comes in a silver colour great winter colour
