While washing up today I was quite shocked to find my Ma-in-laws tongue that is on the kitchen window has a flower spike on it. This is the first time it has flowered. Does anyone know anything about this plant. Should I leave the flower on or whip it out?

Thanks BM. well, I hope it improves. I am not finding it terribly inspiring just yet. Green spike, green buds, with little nectar sacs hanging from them. Will give it another week to show some beauty or it goes, I am afraid.
