I was wondering how I can plant a 24" pot thats 15" deep with bulbs that will give me a nice display from spring till summer in a way that, as the earlies die, the next ones will take their place and so on. I have trawled the web but i'm sure that there is someone here that can fill the bill

Plant them at the recommended depth, as normal (usually twice the depth of the height of the bulb)

Hmm, how about this as a starter for 10 then.
Bottom layer - lilies.
Next layer up- late tulips
Next layer up - early tulips
On top of those - daffs or narcissi
Top layer - species crocus.
You'd have to water well and feed.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
