spring bulbs in containers

The horticultural club I belong to has given us some bulbs to plant to display at our spring show at the end of March.
I can find nothing on t'interweb to give me any idea when to plant, where to keep etc. to have them in bloom on the day.
I have Chinodoxa Pink Giant and Narcissi Hoopoe, does anyone have any advice or experience to share please.

Chinodoxa are hardy and flower quite early outside - I've never grown them indoors.
The narcissi I think are suitable for forcing. I think they can be planted any time soon.
I suggest you plant them separately in pots, 3x the bulb depth - and monitor - bring in to force on and put out in the cold to slow them down.
And tell us how you get on!

I am not sure that they need forcing, as the show is at the end of march. I just can't find anything to tell me the approx length of time from planting to blooming outside or in shelter.

I bought a couple of packs of tulips last week and it stated to plant between sept & dec. Hope this helps.

I think I will just have to plant them and keep them in a sheltered spot outside. Then if they don't seem to be coming on fast enough nearer the time I can bring them into the greenhouse.
I thought the RHS would have some advice as the club use their rules for the shows but I can find nothing on the site. Did buy nice clay half pots to grow them in.
