Where can I buy cheap spring bulbs?

I need a load for my allotment, and don't want to pay a lot. Just want your basic spring bulbs-daffodils, tulips, and so forth. Nothing fancy. Would ideally like around 10 kg.

Has anyone seen any anywhere that are especially amazingly cheap?

When I'm in shops it tends to be with my numerous small kids, so don't tend to notice things like cheap bulbs-for my own and everyone else's sake am in there and out asap) ! Any help greatly appreciated.

I was in a Lidl's a couple of weeks ago and they had large sacks of bulbs,
which were extremely cheap - although I forget the exact price.

Wilkinsons is the one shop I am in quite a lot and while they have bulbs, and actually quite a cheap, interesting collection, the one near me at least doesn't seem to have those big bags of generic spring bulbs.

If you want CHEAP, its best to keep popping in to places that supply them and at the end of the bulb planting season they usually reduce them drastically!

No, they have small packs.

I get mine loose on the market if I can, I also got the £5 sacks of daffs from Lidl. I also get some from the poundshop, but they tend not to be the colour on the packet
