Have I left it too late?

I found some Anemone Coronara and some Allium Oreophilum bulbs from Poundland.
The pack says plant August to December.

I have just planted them out now but will they still grow?

Well there are two answers to that question - yes and no. But it is always worth a go. What have you got to lose?
I often do things in the wrong time of year - and it either works or it doesn't.

You can often tell if a bulb is still viable by feeling it - if's it's hollow and papery it's gone but a bulb that's still fat and hard should grow. You won't get any flowers this year but it's worth a try.
