I picked some cheapo bulbs up of various plants/flowers a while back in the pound shop.. forgot about them until now - and they're sprouting in the bag. Can't remember what they are, but planting time is March-May. Can I bung them in a seed tray of compost in the greenhouse and transplant when they've grown a little? I'm not ready for them in the garden yet.
Do all bulb-based flowers die down and regrow from the bulbs/new bulbs, or are some bulb annuals that need replacing every year? (sorry, I have *NO* idea about flowers what so ever ).
Just bought some to brighten the garden up, but fancy sticking some in the allotment too now.
