  • hanging baskets

I bought 2 new hanging baskets this year and want to grow 'verbena tapien' in a lovey red in them....the baskets are 16". How many should I put in each one?

One plant, ideally. Maybe with some basil?

Being extremely lazy this year I’m looking for some pre planted hanging baskets has anyone bought them before or can anyone recommend anywhere that sells good ones?

my neighbours buy hers from lidl when they come around every so often, they look very pretty. Also wyevale garden centre have some at the moment, but a bit more expensive.homebase and b&q do them too, but I prefer to make my own, as mine are always nicer and cheaper too

I would put in 3,I prefer to pack them in more, for a punch of flowers. If the basket is deep enough you could squeeze in a couple of lobelia plants too, or the verbena by itself will look lovely.
Though others may have a different way of planting baskets, which is good too, this is just how I like to do it

I think I may just do my own! Thanks for the heads up on Lidl though, if I see ones in the next few days I’ll buy them!
