hanging baskets

What does anyone use to line hanging baskets? i always used the cocnut type ready made liners, but I bought 12 of them, proporting to be 16" liners, and on using them find I have an inch and a half short on each one. This seems to me to be an expensive way to go anyway, especially as they dont fit

I've used all kinds over the years, but cut up compost bags are my favourite (black side out so it's virtually invisible)
