I decided to share this photo with you as I thought it looked pretty stunning. I'm particularly proud of this photo as I had to stand atop my planter to take it and this one was snapped midway through falling off . From seed sown at the start of April.

Vagetarian, the wife thinks your Black Poppy is beautiful, as do I, and if you don't mind us asking, were they hard to grow, and did you have to give them any special care.Last edited by Tattie-muncher; 17-07-2011, 04:29 PM.

Would probably have been a case of sow and forget them if I'd planted out in the final position to begin with.
The variety is Black Peony, BTW.
