  • any idea what it could be

Whilst weeding yesterday I came across something that looked like giant four leaf clover it was growing from small bulbs, does anyone know what it could be?

    Thanks

Can't remember its name but it has pink flowers - make sure you get every late bulbul up, it's a bleeping menace!

I was going to replant them in the herb bed.

I'd leave them until more mature and you can then ID them more accuratley.
        Any chance of a photo??
Would be a pity to chuck them out if they are not weeds.
Maybe pot them up for now??
What is a weed in one person's garden might not be so in another with different soil conditions.

good idea, I will put them in pots and see what happens. will try and get a picture, I supose I have to learn how to post them at some point, so it might as well be now.

Sorry If I sounded dramatic! Nicos has a point, here it is a weed, a pretty weed I'll grant, but still a weed. The plants are suprisingly fragile and the bulbuls split very easily, it can be quite hard to get them all. In the right location it would be an interesting ground cover plant. Just not in my garden thanks all the same!

              I think it's oxalis
Pictures of weed leaves on here are quite good

Though I'd disagree about foxglove an purple loosestrife being weeds - each to their own I suppose
