  • Saffron anyone!

    I know this is edible but I have put if in the flower mill forum - Mods, please move if in the wrong place .... aah - erm
    I think this might be classed as flower cruelty but my friend gave me some saffron bulbs and I left them on a sunny windowsill. I happened to look at the bag and noticed a shoot so I thought it best to plant them Imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and found this...

    Oooh - nab those fronds and be nice to the bulbs Apparently they do like it to be dry!

        Sometimes a bit of neglect works wonders. We have a garden near us that is always neglected and always has the biggest flower blooms.
