when will they blossom.

If I sow pansy seeds now when will they be in bloom.
My grand-daughter is making her first communion at the end of May. My daughter wondered if i might be able to grow some flowers to brighten up her garden and i wondered if pansys might be ready by then.
Any other suggestions gladly accepted.

Hi bramble, I am not a very experienced gardener. I tried those annuals last year, cornflowers, sunflowers, dahlia, and snapdragons. In my diary, I sowed the seeds in mid-March, all of them were blooming in June, only one or two flowers at the end of May.

I guess if you have a warm enough greenhouse, they could be blooming at the end of May.
