  • Sweetpea help peas....

I have been overwintering sweet peas that in root trainers that are now starting to throw out tendrils........i don't know what to do with them!

I have searched threads and there appears to be conflicting advice.

Could I pop them into individual pots because I think that the tendrils will intertwine very soon and make separating them impossible.

I am also tempted to plant some out as the are hardy???

All advice welcomed........I've never grown them before. I have 32 plants........

    Loving my allotment!

Where are they at the moment? You should be able to plant them out very soon, but if they've been indoors or in a greenhouse then they will need hardening off.

My peas went out last weekend, if I'd had sweetpeas on the go they would have also gone out.

Pick the tendrils off. The peas don't need them, you can use rings instead, in fact, that's how the show growers grow them
