    Has anyone tried this,
aprox 3 weeks ago i cut the tops of mine so as to make them bush out,i held them in my hand and thought, mmmm, they were put into water like you would a bunch of flowers, some have now grown white roots and were potted up 3 days ago, they doing great,in fact the rest of the bunch look better than the ones i scalped, and growing even little tendrils,i feel well chuffed so far,me thinks i will have a go with some green peas when they grew some more,at the mo they being eaten alive along with the broadys
    have found pics of roots,

Some sweet pea show folks break off the initial (main) stem and allow a side shoot to grow on as they seem to think they get better results this way. A good use of the disgards. Cheers, Tony.

Didn't know you could do that! As I always seem to struggle to get any to grow, the idea that once they are growing, I can make more from them, is very pleasing!
