  • This month Matthew I shall be growing mainly blue........

Looking at the garden today, it struck me that pretty much most of what is in bloom is blue. Whereas last month the colour was predominately yellow. Forget me knots, aubretia , rosemary and blue bells at the moment following on from the yellow of daffs, tulips and crocus. Wonder what comes next?

I think we have the same problem, and I'm not even doing it on purpose because I like reds and whites....But there's lavender, borage, rosemary, clematis, bluebells, then the pinky purples of comfrey and another clematis.....

You're right Bins, it does seem to be predominantly blue here too. I'm rather pleased that the bluebells I've dug out of the strawberry bed over the years have at last flowered in a bit of a wildlife area I've got under a tree at the top of the garden. Lovely pics BTW.

I've deliberately planted a blue & white garden, and get really cross when something flowers only to be lilac or creamy yellow, and anything true yellow or pink gets ripped straight out
