Coleus

Hi there...being very new to all this, I was advised to plant some Coleus seeds...which I did a couple of months ago, in my unheated greenhouse...

This is what they look like now!!! They seem to be very slow growing...Is this about normal ???

Yep I thought so afterwards!!! Posted here first then thought it might be better on the "newbies" thread!

I grew them last year and they were very slow to take off. I started in January as they need a long growing season. But boy do they take off. They grew more into a bush than a regular plant! Lovely bit a variety in the border. I can't imagine you would want too many of them so I would thin those out to leave a good bit of space around them and then pot them into modules for a bit when the second or third set of leaves come. I can't remember but I think they like a bit of heat so they may have been set back in your greenhouse. What does the seed packet say?

grew them last year,they very slow at first,then all at one there they are,i must say i envy your germination rate,last year i had loads,this not many,they about the size of yours,
