I've been trying to find the name of this plant.. anyone have any ideas? Also, is it a shrub it would be easy to take a cutting from? I'm very new to this? Please take a look at the photos.
Many thanks in advance.
um...questions at the ready...so...is mock orange jasmine or not? I keep finding images of white jasmine, that look exactly like this, and I've confused myself now.
oh, it's ok, just read that it's oftne confused for it because of the smell...
hmm...a handy addition to the list of plants ot buy I think
I like the common Mock Orange - not the golden one. Knock out perfume, very easy to grow and from cuttings too, though its been a while since I took any. Its a shrub rather than a scrambler like jasmine and the flowers are larger.
Go on, you know you want too.....

No, jasmine is something else. It's that very heady scent that wafts around Greek/Turkish seaside resorts. White flower, but more waxy looking flower. Philadelphus is finer petalled and is called Mock Orange because it smells like orange blossom, but isn't. Jasmine is very sweet, but floral not citrussy. I realise I'm rambling now, so I'll shut up.
