  • Moving Poppies

I have lots of Poppies (I think they're the Opium Poppies, gluacous leaves with pinky purple flowers, if I remember correctly) which are right in the middle of a patch of garden that I want to put a raised bed on.
Will they be likely to survive if I move them now, some are getting quite big.

    many thanks

    Hi Peanut,

I reckon they will. You could always wait for them to seed as well and collect that if the poppies don't take to th move so well..

Try and keep them well watered after the move to reduce stress. I think they're gorgeous!
