Nope, can't think of a single flower I don't like from Anemone to Zantedeschia!

definitely agree with mini conifers. my other half wont let me have lupins, hates em, though I quite like them! as they are the only flower he expresses an opinion on, I go along with it to make him happy!

We have a fairly common fuschia which grows like mad here - wouldn't know its name though. I just hack it down in Spring and it grows back again to a height of about 6 - 8 feet - and that is in the really exposed bit of the garden.

When we moved here from Essex 28 years ago my Dad didn't believe me when I said we had fuschia hedging - he reckoned I didn't know what one was!

I'd be willing to bet it's Fuschia magellanica "Riccartonii", same as mine.

SR - Little red flowers? Dark green small leaves? Burns nicely in the wind?

Nice to know its real name

Ricci's the most common one that you find. My dad had one with slightly bigger flowers that were all red called Flash, that was nice

Agree with that RL, I loathe hydrangea, they always seem to be in gardens of abandoned houses which as a child you would be convinced were haunted... And they always look scraggy and wishy-washy bcoz people plant the wrong one for the type of soil they have. Nasty.
I also dislike 'grape hyacinth', get everywhere, & not that attractive.

I can't stand that Russian Vine stuff - and death's too good for pampass grass too! Otherwise they all have a certain charm.

Hmmm, cant say I hate any flowers as such, but can happily live without that yellow broom stuff, it stinks! And I'm not into fuschias or hydrangas either, and I can definitely live without most grasses, dont see the point of them really other than in the lawn !
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

The plants I really, really hate are chrysanthemums.

Mum and dad had a small greengrocery shop, which was basically the front room of a terraced house. The 'shop' spread into the living accommodation. At this time of year we were not allowed to have any heat on, 'as it would kill the flowers' ie chrysanths - 2/s a bloom aka 10p. Heaven only knows what the equivalent price would be today.

I really, really hate them. They remind me of cold miserable winters, and they stink.

I don't understand all the hype with roses to be honest - don't get me wrong, I don't hate them as such but I don't get why people get so caught up in them.

There probably are flowers I hate, but as for knowing their names....

                              All the gear, no idea.

Chrysanths ~ hate them, they're dead people flowers!

Hydrangea's other than the deep, deep blue ones.

Fuschia's...for all of the above reasons!

And daffodils! We used to be given a bulb in school which we had to grow and my Mum used to keep saying we'd plant it tomorrow and tomorrow never came! But a couple of weeks before they were due to be brought back in they were planted and stuck in front of the central heating vent to try and encourage some growth. If you got a flower from it you got a certificate in colour, if you had a bud you got a black and white certificate and if you had nothing you got nothing.....I generally got nothing!
