  • Oak trees..........

    All the oak tree leaves around here seem to be covered in mildew. I just wonder whether this is some kind of oak tree blight?

    Does it look like a silvery powder, Snadge? Its all over the lower leaves on my oaks. Don't know what it is but I'm sure I've seen it before.

          Rather worrying when we have dutch elm diease attacking our elms and depleting them and now this stuff trying to decimate our english oaks!

            Don't forget the Ash, Larch and Juniper - also under threat (Edited to remove the link as there was too much irrelevant stuff in it)

                    Get it every year on our oaks. They are 100+ years old so stop worrying:-)
