We woke to the smell of hyacinths today

I have 10 hyacinths in bulb vases - they're in every room in the house.
The photo of a bulb in a vase in your link is a bit misleading as I'm sure that is not a Grape Hyacinth but an ordinary hyacinth Don't think it would be practical to grow a Muscari in a bulb vase - it would have to be teeny

Maybe they are in pots/baskets. Mine are around the tree bases.

I haven't even looked at the link, tbh.

I wanted to post my own photo of my own (white) hyacinth, but it's lost in the depths of my computer

edit: found it, terrible photo but still

It's making the house smell lovely

My hyacinths are outdoors and are in full bloom.
I think they are in my garden about ten years now.
I planted them outdoors when they had finished flowering and they just keep coming up every year.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
