Plant recognition please

Hi,

can you help recognise this plant, I had it at the end of last year and took it in the polytunnel, it's now growing quite well in it's pot, but I can't remember what it is, and i ned to know what size it goes to before I re-plant, I'm hoping I can up load the
photograph, so bear with me, if none appears you know why, then I'll try again.

Do you think its an edible plant?
When you rub the leaves do they have a strong smell?

I havn't realy touched it, I've finished for the day up there, it's too cold, I shall check it tomorrow.

Thanks for your replies,

I looked at google images of sweet potato plant, the leaf shape is very similar, but my one
has a more dark red vein running in the leaf, and never had sweet potatoes in this
garden for 9 years of my time, hope it's not as I don't eat them.
Pretty sure its an ornamental plant of sorts rather than edible, any more suggestions?
And veggiechicken, it doesn't have a smell.

The smell question was because I thought it might be Houttuynia ?sp but you'd know that straight away by the smell. I'll keep thinking!!
