  • Snapdragon question.

Do they grow well in pots?
Ive just discovered that one of the 'empty' little compost filled pots I carelessly left on the bathroom windowsill all year now has a very healthy little snapdragon plant growing away!
I feel it deserves a special place for being such a trooper (rather then becoming slug food in the border).
It would be nice to put it in a pot and have it brighten up the patio!

I can't see why not. It is obviously a strong plant so if you save the seeds, you should be able to grow more next year too - bonus, I say.

I grow several in a stone planter at the foot of a large creeper. Self seed and tough as old boots.. survive winters - these are large plants approx 50cms tall when fully grown... as opposed to the smaller bedders.
