fast flowering climber plants

Ive got a arch in the garden, Im wanting a vine or flower that grows fast and flowers any ideas??

Clematis montana - that grows quite quick and flowers well. Ours is covered in buds right now. Annuals - runner beans - will cover an arch in a couple of months and lovely flowers even if you hate beans and just chop them off. Combining something slower but perennial with annuals would give you quick colour/cover this year and something for next.

Yes, montanas do grow fast, and quite large - so you'll need to make sure your arch is secured well - my neighbour had a fence panel pulled down in the wind as her montana acted like a kite.
