    I seen them at Newby Hall love them but eondered if uou can grow them from seed & any advice?

          Indeed they are. I did mine in one of those half-trays of compost, covered with vermiculite, on the kitchen windowsill.

          (Now I can't get rid of them, you dig one up and it regrows like a thistle does!)
