  • Advice please on Sweet Peas

I bought some sweet peas, they were pretty leggy and very root bound. Each section had . 4 plants in a 2 inch diameter. I hardened them off and prepared the ground, adding some sand and a lot of my home made compost.Watered with some nettle feed..
Planted them out last week up against some wire netting, putting down crushed egg shells, to prevent slugs. I've grown them there before with no problem.

A lot of the leaves have now turned a light green colour.

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

I would say cold, or lack of good soil but as you've fed and hardened them off perhaps they just need a little while to get their feet in the ground after being pot bound.
