I've also put in climbing Iceberg (white rose) on the east facing wall, which only gets morning sun. I thought it would be sickly, but it's going mad, and just about to flower.
Pound shop purchase again, so it might be worth a punt

Whilst these flowers do prefer sun, the plants definitely survive, & flower, in partial or even total shade
After midday the pictured plants will be in the shade: they only get morning sun in the summer, and none at all in the winter
