Does anyone know what plant this is?

It's growing in a conservatory and is a monster, apparently. Quite big. The flowers remind me of geranium, but the leaves don't look right, and it's not scented.

    Thank you kind Grapes

sorry for small pic, it's from a friend's mobile

Yes Mallow, annual. Save some seeds and sow them outside next year.

if it's a monster, then it could be a tree mallow, lavatera arborea, which is shrubby, and is a plant native to coastal areas, but grows happily anywhere. BBC - Gardening: Plant Finder - Tree mallow

I was given the impression that it's quite a delicate flimsy thing, not scrubby & tough like a mallow. I haven't seen the plant 'in person'.

Thanks though, I'll pass that suggestion on

Maybe it's flimsy because it's growing indoors, when it is by nature a robust hardy plant that lives outdoors
