  • Champion Year for Sweet Peas

So without doubt, in my garden, this has been the very best year for sweet peas. As the poor things start to run out of steam and I spend more time removing seed pods then cutting flowers I'm wondering what varieties I should grow next year. I'm looking for a highly fragrant variety that grows long stems throughout the flowering season - aren't we all. Any suggestions?

I've had various sweet peas over the years but this time I've grown 'grow me! multi pack seeds' from one of the Pound shops and they've been the best yet.
    Location....East Midlands.

Wonder what I did wrong, cos mine aren't so good this year, they are now producing lots of flowers, and smell beautiful, but they are very short stems, and the actual plants are short, only about 18 - 24 ins, maybe a couple are 3ft. Strange !
