  • Leggy Cosmos

My cosmos has become leggy and untidy. Any tips for keeping them neat and bushy?

It is their nature. Keep them dead headedand cut off any stems that have finished flowering, that will help.

Not sure it applies to cosmos but I have a patch of ox- eye daisies which used to always shoot up to 3ft high then fall or get blown over, so in the late spring when they are a foot high I chop them back to ground level. The regrowth is then much lower and an added bonus is that they have more flower heads.
