    If you've got a little bit of spare ground on your lottie....you only need a row or two, think about using that space for growing some shrubs from hardwood cuttings. They are so easy to do and you just put them in the ground and let them get on with it.

    Ribes, cornus, forsythia, salix, philadelphus, legustrum and a lot more can be propagated like this.

    Some soft fruit can also be grown like this too
