  • Geum - Mrs Bradshaw

    Hi all,
We've got a Geum in the (wifes) border and the flowers are just about over now...is it wise to cut the flowering stems off now? Also there seems to be new growth in the centre of the plant which looks like a second flush of flower shoots...is this normal or am I seeing things? Thanks for any advice.

I've got some of these - lovely hot colour! I'm a b*ggar for not remembering to deadhead flowers but they keep coming over a long season and if you are a lax gardener like me you can get seedlings too.
