    I didn't think I could cope with 140,000, I've sent for a modest 10,000, and am now patrolling the verges all around about, looking for bare patches and workmen laying pipes

        Yes, papaver somniferum, a Slovakian variety, where it was grown for oil I believe. White seed is used a lot in Indian cookery.

        Sokol seem to be a US company that makes, among other things, poppy seed fillings for cakes
