Another pick 'n mix of flowers from the allotment. Ox-eye daisy, lavender, euphorbia oblongata, salvia viridis, snapdragons, cerinthe and sweet pea.
Sorry it's a bit of a dark photo (in the background are two pots of sweet williams which I bought from homebase today...was inspired by Martin's photo of them so I'm going to save the seeds from these)Attached Files

I wish you could smell the scent of these sweet peas! It fills the kitchen and living room. I've been picking 4 bunches a week of these since June, half from lottie and half from the garden. As soon as they grow droopy in the vase, another profusion of flowers is waiting on the plants. Have never grown sweet peas before and am WELL impressed!!
Sorry they are on their side, by the way. Can't get the pic to turn.Attached Files

How did you do that, VC?

Aha! Best to save to computer, then, rather than try and post direct from iPhone.

Calendula, brocolli flowers, sweet pea, crocosmia, euphorbia and fern (bit of a colour clash going on..I should've added some blue salvias to make a rainbow)Attached Files

Allium sphaerocephalon, knapweed, sweet pea, salvia viridis, phacelia, ox-eye daisy, ferns and sunflowers.
The sunflowers are a bit of a sore point... I bought Vanilla Ice sunflower seeds which have large cream petals and a dark centre, but the seeds turned out to be generic sunflowers. Anyhow, I'll try a different supplier next year.Attached Files
